Used so you can take room photos directly inside the app for AI-powered interior design generation and previews. Camera is only active when you initiate a capture.

Allows you to upload room images from your device and save generated design results. On older Android versions, limited storage access may be required for proper media handling.

Required to securely connect with our AI systems, generate design results, sync app functionality, and support analytics and performance monitoring.

These permissions are used only for the features described above. RoomAI does not access unrelated personal content or use your data for advertising purposes.

4. Photo & Image Data

When you upload a room photo, it is transmitted securely to our AI processing servers to generate design previews. Important points:

Photos are processed only for the purpose of generating your design result
Photos are not permanently stored after processing is complete
Generated design images are stored temporarily and deleted after a reasonable retention period
You retain full ownership of any photos you upload

5. Third-Party Services

Our app may use third-party services. These services have their own privacy policies:

AI Design Processing — Industry-standard AI platforms to process room photos and generate design outputs. Data is transmitted over secure encrypted connections.
Firebase / Google Analytics — For anonymized crash reporting and usage analytics.
Google Play Services — For app distribution and in-app purchases.

6. Data Retention

Room photos and uploaded content are not permanently stored beyond what is necessary for processing. Anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 12 months. Generated design results may be cached temporarily to improve performance.

7. In-App Purchases

All in-app purchases are processed securely through Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment information. Transactions are governed by Google's payment policies.
