1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Alestra L.L.C-FZ ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), governing your use of the QR Code Scanner & Generator Android application ("App").

By installing or using the App, you confirm you are at least 3 years of age (or have parental consent if under 13) and agree to these Terms.

2. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on your personal Android device(s) for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its source code
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any commercial, unlawful, or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to exploit or gain unauthorized access to the App's infrastructure
• Use automated tools to bulk-scan or bulk-generate QR codes via the App

3. QR Scanning Responsibility

The App decodes QR codes and displays their content. You are solely responsible for:

• Verifying the safety and legitimacy of URLs or content found in scanned QR codes before acting on them
• Not scanning QR codes in locations or contexts where scanning is prohibited
• Any actions taken as a result of scanning a QR code (e.g., visiting a website, connecting to WiFi, saving a contact)

We are not responsible for any harm, loss, or damage resulting from content decoded from QR codes scanned using the App.

4. QR Code Generation

You may use the QR generator to create QR codes for personal use. You agree not to generate QR codes that:

• Link to malicious, illegal, or harmful content
• Are used to deceive, defraud, or harm others
• Violate any applicable laws or third-party rights
• Contain or distribute malware, phishing links, or spam

We reserve the right to update the App to block generation of known malicious content patterns.

5. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases ranging from Rs 900 to Rs 3,000 per item. All purchases are processed securely through Google Play.

• All purchases are final unless required otherwise by applicable law
• Refund requests are subject to Google Play's refund policy
• Purchased features are tied to your Google account
• We may modify available in-app purchases at any time

6. Advertisements

The free version of the App may display advertisements served by third-party ad networks (e.g., Google AdMob). We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements. In-app purchases may remove advertisements.

7. Permissions

The App requests device permissions (Camera, Storage) necessary for its core functionality. Granting these permissions is voluntary — you may revoke them through your device settings at any time, though doing so may limit app functionality.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not use the App to:

• Scan or generate QR codes for illegal, fraudulent, or malicious purposes
• Distribute QR codes that link to harmful or deceptive content
• Interfere with the App's normal operation
• Circumvent any security or access controls within the App

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, logos, and trademarks within the App are the property of Alestra L.L.C-FZ or its licensors. The "QR Code Scanner & Generator" name and associated branding may not be used without prior written consent.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that QR codes will always be decoded accurately. Accuracy of QR scanning depends on camera quality, lighting, and QR code condition.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alestra L.L.C-FZ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including harm resulting from acting on decoded QR code content. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the three months preceding any claim.

13. Updates and Modifications

We may update the App and these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may add, modify, or remove features without prior notice.

14. Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate by uninstalling the App. We may terminate access for violations of these Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UAE courts.
